De Lange Grafimedia (Goes) switches from Drumis to MultiPress

Family printing company De Lange Grafimedia in Goes is the complete package! With more than 100 years of experience in different types of printing techniques, they manage to deliver quality time and again. To support their business operations on an administrative level, they relied SAD's MIS software. However, that software was close to expiry and will not be developed further. The management team at De Lange realised well that continuing to use older software was not going to benefit their continued growth and innovation. They therefore chose to switch to MultiPress.

Fourth and fifth De Lange generations at the helm

De Lange Grafimedia is what you would call a purebred family business. The print business was founded more than 100 years ago in 1910 by Mr H. De Lange in an old pharmacy shop. Meanwhile, the fourth and fifth generations of the De Lange family are already at the helm. In all that time, the historic company has built up a very high level of expertise and both offer a broad total package to their clients.

They help companies highlight their corporate identity with corporate identity design, logo, multicolour stamping and corporate clothing that they also print themselves. With their digital and offset printers, they pressure all business and occasional printing and also provide lettering and outdoor advertising.

After taking over repro company ELJO, De Lange has been offering reprographic services for several years, including copying, printing, plotting, scanning, finishing, binding, laminating. And they don't stop there, as they recently acquired print business Durenkamp, specialising in sports and corporate gifts, to further expand their extensive offering.

No more new version of Drumis

For years, De Lange has been a loyal Drumis user. However, the software package's ease of use had been deteriorating for some time. After the takeover of the developer, Insad, by Dataline, it was no longer feasible to develop new versions of Drumis. De Lange understands all too well that working with outdated software brings a lot of disadvantages and risks, as they themselves experienced with other software.

Leaps forward with MultiPress

Print business friends told them about the ERP/MIS software MultiPress. This combines all administrative, commercial, financial and logistic business processes in one user-friendly system. At first, they were rather reluctant, after all it was a big adjustment, but after good guidance from the MultiPress Business Development team and a successful demo cycle, that initial reluctance was completely removed.

De Lange recognised the benefits they could get with MultiPress: more cost and time savings, up to 23 hours and €837 per month for basic administration. During the migration, they could count on their trusted partner at Insad, Arjen Van Dis.

De Lange chose the following modules:

• Calculation Wizard: Calculate the exact cost price of your print jobs at lightning speed. 
• Repeat calculation: Save calculations in the archive to view them again or even retrieve them to current calculations. 
• Document management: Store all outgoing documents in a handy digital archive.

The time for the migration to MultiPress was well chosen as a new generation of the De Lange family joins the family business and can now continue to build the company on a solid foundation with the new MultiPress software. On to 200 years!
