Sync switches from Drumis to MultiPress

A sign company with a strong focus on online sales

Sync is a graphical company in Kerkrade (the Netherlands) with signing as its core activity. Whether it's printing, signing, promotional items, textile/screen printing, mailing or customised work, they have everything in house to provide their customers with the best possible service. They also have their own design department and are responsible for the delivery of the final product. Sync likes to show off their online ordering portal where their customers can easily order online and where they can get a clear overview of stocks and order whenever they want.

To keep everything running smoothly, Sync previously used Drumis. They were quite satisfied with the functionalities of this software. Some time after the death of Insad-founder Gerard van Helsdingen, Insad was taken over by Dataline and Sync got the chance to switch to MultiPress...

The migration from Drumis to MultiPress

he acquisition of Insad by Dataline in 2020 meant that Dataline entered into a conversation with Drumis users, including Sync. Dataline vowed to continue supporting Drumis software according to the current conditions for a certain period of time. These users also have the option to migrate their data to MultiPress via a migration path, including conversion, training and service. Drumis users can still make the switch to MultiPress today.

This appealed to Sync: compared to MultiPress, Drumis was rather limited in its functionality. On top of this came the problem that Drumis was not being developed any further, while MultiPress proved to be a more performant and increasingly innovative alternative. With MultiPress, Sync was able to take the extensive automation within the company to the next phase. Finally, the guidance and support provided by Dataline was remarkably well organised.

Growing with the organisation

For them, the switch from Drumis to MultiPress was an instant success and Sync is now an enthusiastic Dataline customer. With the Calculation Wizard, company-wide fast and accurate calculations can be made for both quotations and orders. With the help of the dashboards in MultiPress, accurate information about all important KPI's is always available. This allows adjustments to be made quickly where needed. With the 'to-do' functions, the dashboards also offer complete process monitoring from quotation request to delivery and invoicing.

And the online order portal that Sync is so proud of? That's also possible thanks to the web portal and the web-2-print capabilities of MultiPress! MultiPress places data directly on the website and then synchronises it continuously. Orders that come in via the website are processed directly in MultiPress and forwarded to production. Sync's customers can log in to the portal to consult the progress of current orders and place orders. In this way, MultiPress supports Sync in their online ambitions!
