Aurora
Aurora reduces administrative workload with MultiPress MIS/ERP
Aurora began as a family project, which over the years evolved into a leading paper goods manufacturer in the Benelux. However, growth brings change. There was no longer room for manual calculations and planning, so Aurora sought an alternative solution. In 2024, they discovered MultiPress MIS/ERP, which proved to be a great success.
Leading paper goods manufacturer in the Benelux
Aurora's story began modestly, almost inconspicuously, in the heart of Turnhout in 1935. What started as a small family-owned SME focused on school notebooks and ledgers, grew into a major player, not just through their products, but primarily through their vision and perseverance. With a bold expansion of their range of school and office supplies, they propelled themselves to the top of the paper goods industry in the Benelux. This was no accident, but the result of decades of craftsmanship and strategic decisions.
Relocations and expansions marked their journey, but these were merely footnotes in the larger story of a company that never stood still. Today, Aurora is much more than a simple SME. With over 80 years of accumulated expertise, they master every nuance of the production process, from paper selection to packaging, and from storage to distribution. Their products, ranging from Adoc notebooks to educational materials and drawing paper, find their way to customers in more than 20 countries.
The numbers speak for themselves: a team of 71 dedicated employees, a customer base of 350 satisfied clients, including renowned names such as Colruyt, Delhaize, Dreamland, Cora, Auchan, and Carrefour. Aurora is not just a supplier of sign, offset, and digital printing. They are a trusted name in supermarkets and wholesalers throughout Europe.
Inefficient administrative processes
Despite their success, Aurora faced several challenges. Inefficient administrative processes slowed down their calculations and planning. Manual calculations in Excel and the use of a holiday planner for scheduling and absences caused time loss. Additionally, working with their own developed software, which was not integrated with their accounting software, created a lack of oversight. This resulted in significant inefficiency and hampered their growth potential.
MultiPress transforms Aurora's administrative workflow
Aurora's decision to adopt MultiPress was not just a technological upgrade; it was a strategic investment in their future. Thanks to this powerful business software, Aurora's administrative processes will run much more efficiently. Both calculations and invoicing will no longer be manual tasks thanks to the Calculation Wizard and an integration with their Exact accounting package. They will also be able to plan more realistically and gain a clear overview of all orders and available production capacity. Finally, the supplied PDF files will be checked and automatically repaired by the Check & Repair module.
Thanks to MultiPress, Aurora is now also administratively prepared to continue growing in Europe.
